This year, we gladly held two Halloween Pony Mornings – and what a spook-tacular success they were! Despite the rain on one of the days, spirits remained high and every child had a fang-tastic time. The ponies were treated to lots of love and attention during the grooming sessions, and, as always, they absolutely adored being cuddled and fussed over by all the children that attended.

Using thin wool as cobwebs, and even a few fake spiders, the children transformed their ponies. From cobweb covered manes to spider infested tails, the creativity on show was truly brilliant.

The children also had a special experience of riding bareback, helping them really connect with their ponies and feel every moment beneath them which in turn gave riders a greater understanding of our beautiful equines.

Of course, no Halloween Pony Morning would be complete without fancy dress! Those who came in their best spooky costumes were rewarded with a well-deserved prize and everyone went home proudly wearing a Halloween themed rosette to remember their morning. Â
