Missie is a beautiful, gentle ex-polo pony who now enjoys a peaceful, well-deserved retirement at Tillington Stables. She is not part of our licensed riding school and isn’t used on the rides — affectionately known here as our “field ornament”, she is every bit as special as the ponies who ‘work’.
These days, Missie plays an important role as a companion horse, offering a calm presence and friendship to the rest of the herd. She’s especially caring towards Blueberry, keeping her company and looking after her when the others are brought in for rides.
Missie adores attention, being groomed, and gentle fuss, and she’s at her happiest when surrounded by her field mates. With her sweet, kind temperament and loving nature, Missie brings quiet warmth to the yard and is cherished by everyone who knows her.
Missie enjoys her time living out with; Blueberry, DaisyMay, Ella, and Gamgee.
